Shift your focus to solving people’s problems for greater marketing success

If you want to be successful in marketing, you need to shift your focus from convincing people that your product is great to emphasizing how dire their current problem or pain is and how your solution will solve it.

Stop trying to convince everyone how great your product or service is.

Instead, do this;

1. Emphasise how dire their current problem or pain is.

2. Show (don’t tell) them how your solution will solve their problem or pain.

Don’t promise any weird hacks, tactics, or strategies. Solutions and improvement are what counts.

Offer a massive amount of value that your audience can’t refuse.

Tell your clients or customers what problem you solve and how you do it.

Only then, if there is enough value in what you have shared, they may move further down the buying process.

People who don’t understand your product and why they should buy it won’t become loyal customers.

They want to know how much effort or time implementing your solution will take on their end. Your customers need to be sure that the benefits of using your product or service outweigh the costs (time, money, effort).

Don’t be afraid to show them that you are an authority on the subject.

By emphasizing the pain and showing how your solution provides real value, potential customers will be more likely to see you as an authority on the subject.

When you can show them how your product or service can benefit their life, they will be more likely to buy from you or move further towards the goal of buying from you.
